FXR-Bravo | NIJ Level RF2 (E)
Designed for the Mission
For special operators conducting water missions. The FXR-Bravo reduces the amount of parasitic weight while in water while protecting the operator against projectiles designed to pierce/penetrate armor.
Reliable Finishing
The composite and ceramic make-up are expertly fashioned and enclosed for longterm durability, water proofness, and weight reduction.

Positively Buoyant
Uniquely designed to increase survivability in combat and emergency water situations. This armor system floats to the surface yet utilizes a ceramic strike face.

Advanced Protection
Engineered to defeat multiple impacts of various penetrating high powered threats common in combat theaters while being exceptionally lightweight

Impact Mitigation
Utilizes a non-foam back face signature reducing material that outperforms the leading impact foam by over 20%
THREAT PROFILE
The FXR-B (Fixer-Bravo) is meticulously engineered to exceed the specifications originally requested to us by OGA leaders. Developed in collaboration with industry innovators in impact mitigation and ceramic materials, the FXR-B boasts positive buoyancy, making it ideal for maritime operations while delivering superior ballistic performance. Additionally, this advanced armor surpasses rating standards for a wide range of threats, offering an evolutionary solution for Special Operators in Federal, Law Enforcement, and Military applications.

Armor Testing & Threat Validation
Real Testing. Clear Standards. No Gimmicks.
At TAC 11, we do things differently—and we believe our customers deserve to know exactly how our armor is tested.
What We Do
All of our armor is tested at NIJ-certified ballistic laboratories. These are the same labs used for official compliance testing.
We focus on the two most important performance standards when conducting abbreviated tests:
- Penetration resistance
- Backface deformation (BFD)
We follow the NIJ 0101.06 and 0101.07 testing methods, but in some cases, we use an abbreviated version of the full protocol.
Why It’s Abbreviated
- Our primary users include special operations and tactical units, who prioritize performance over paperwork.
- Full NIJ compliance isn't always necessary for mission-specific gear.
- We eliminate redundant testing steps that don’t add real-world value—without compromising ballistic integrity.
- These tests still use the exact same velocities, projectiles, and clay protocols as full NIJ tests.
Why We’re Telling You
No other armor companies typically explain this. We do—because you deserve to know.
- We don’t claim “certified” unless it’s officially compliant.
- We test to the real-world ballistic standards that matter most.
- Our lab reports and data back up our claims.
Bottom line: Our customers know the mission. We build for performance and test with integrity. That’s the difference between marketing and mission.
